We instruct them in the basics, what to look out for, how to prevent fire happening in the first place, what to do if there is an emergency.

There is more to fire awareness training than simply asking your fire extinguisher service Engineer to show you how extinguishers work.
Don't rely on some keen sales engineer selling you a cheap video, proper advice and instruction is the only right way. Insurers will not accept excuses if you have an incident and are found to have skirted round taking proper precautions just to save money.
